The local ales tasting sessions were a standout feature, paired nicely with the diverse menu featuring local cuisine that truly embraced the regional flavors. The seasonal garden out back adds a charming touch for those wishing to relax outdoors with a drink.
Unfortunately, noise levels from traffic were quite bothersome, making it tough for light sleepers to get some peace. The heating issues in the room left it a bit too cold for comfort, and the outdated furniture detracted from what could have been a more cozy atmosphere. Parking availability was also a hassle, especially during peak times, so be prepared to play musical chairs with your vehicle.

All Pros, no Cons
The meal in the bar was substantial, and local quiz night was a delightful surprise! The community atmosphere made for a welcoming environment that truly enhanced my stay.
Noise levels were bothersome at times! I had some trouble with parking availability during my visit.

The friendly staff made sure we had everything we needed, and the packed breakfast was a nice surprise when a cooked one wasn’t available. I loved relaxing in the cozy lounge and exploring the beautiful gardens. I had to share a bathroom, but honestly, it was no big deal for the price we paid—definitely check it out! 😊

Had a fantastic time staying with friends! We went hiking at the Yorkshire 3 Peaks and appreciated the early breakfast setup with cereals and toast. The room was ample and tidy, and the staff made us feel right at home. Parking was easy too, and the location was spot-on for our adventures.
One night after a long day, we experienced a bit of noise from outside that interrupted sleep. It could be an issue for light sleepers when traffic picks up.

The bed in our Double Room with Private Bathroom was really comfy, which was great for a good night’s sleep. The bathroom had a fantastic hot shower that felt amazing! Everything was clean, too, which always makes a stay feel more pleasant. Plus, the room had this lovely cozy vibe that made it a nice retreat after a long day. My only downside was that the furniture felt a bit dated, but it didn't take away much from the overall experience.

We stayed 2 nights to tackle the Yorkshire 3 Peaks, and it was an amazing experience! The check-in was smooth, and they even set up an early breakfast with cereals, toast, jam, and drinks that were kept cool for us. The Double Room with Private Bathroom was clean and comfortable, and the staff made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. I would definitely return!
The noise from the road was noticeable at night.
